What leaves your browser, and what doesn't.
1. Scope
This notice describes how al-mo.de ("the Site", "we", "us") handles information in connection with your use of the Site and the tools made available on it (collectively, the "Service"). It applies to all visitors and users of the Service. By using the Service, you acknowledge the practices described below.
2. Information we do not collect
The Service does not require account registration, does not set cookies, and does not employ third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking technologies of any kind. We do not collect names, email addresses, payment information, or other personal data through your ordinary use of the Service.
3. Local storage
The Site stores a single value — your selected display theme (system, light, or dark) — in your browser's local storage. This value is stored and read solely on your device, is not transmitted to us or any third party, and can be removed at any time by clearing your browser's site data.
4. Processing of tool inputs
Tools offered through the Service, including Image OCR and Image Color Picker, execute entirely within your browser using client-side code. Files, images, or text you submit to a tool are processed locally on your device and are not transmitted to, or stored on, any server operated by us. Should any future tool require server-side processing, that requirement will be disclosed on the relevant tool's page prior to use.
5. Hosting and server logs
The Service is hosted using infrastructure provided by Cloudflare, Inc. ("Cloudflare"). As is standard for any internet-connected service, Cloudflare processes network-level connection data (such as IP address, user agent, and request timestamps) in the course of delivering the Service and for security and abuse-prevention purposes. We do not configure any additional analytics, tracking, or logging beyond Cloudflare's standard infrastructure-level processing. Cloudflare acts as an independent data processor in this respect.
6. Children's privacy
The Service is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. Because the Service collects no personal data from any user in the ordinary course of use, no additional safeguards beyond those described in this notice are applicable.
7. Changes to this notice
We may revise this notice from time to time to reflect changes to the Service or applicable legal requirements. The "last updated" date below indicates when this notice was last revised. Continued use of the Service following any revision constitutes acceptance of the revised notice.
