1. Acceptance of terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of al-mo.de and the tools made available on it (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Mohamad Almousli ("Operator", "we", "us"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.
2. Description of service
The Service consists of a website and a collection of free, browser-based utility tools (including, without limitation, Image OCR and Image Color Picker), provided on an as-available basis. The Operator may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue any tool or feature of the Service at any time and without prior notice.
3. License and acceptable use
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, the Operator grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your personal or internal business purposes. You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation; (b) attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its underlying infrastructure; (c) use automated means to scrape, crawl, or excessively burden the Service in a manner inconsistent with normal use; or (d) submit to any tool content that you do not have the lawful right to process.
4. Your content
Tools offered through the Service process files, images, or text you provide ("Your Content") locally within your browser, as described in the Privacy Notice. Your Content is not transmitted to or stored by the Operator in the ordinary course of using a client-side tool. As between you and the Operator, you retain all rights, title, and interest in Your Content. You are solely responsible for Your Content and for ensuring you have all necessary rights to submit it to a tool.
5. Intellectual property
The Service, including its design, text, graphics, logos, and underlying code (excluding Your Content and any third-party open-source components, which remain subject to their respective licenses), is the property of the Operator or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. No right, title, or interest in the Service is transferred to you except for the limited license expressly granted above.
6. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including, without limitation, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. The Operator does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that the output of any tool (including, without limitation, text extracted by the OCR tool or colors sampled by the color picker) will be accurate, complete, or fit for any particular purpose. You are solely responsible for verifying any output before relying on it.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall the Operator be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your access to or use of, or inability to access or use, the Service, regardless of the legal theory on which such damages are based and even if the Operator has been advised of the possibility of such damages. The Service is provided free of charge, and the Operator's aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid, if any, to use the Service, or (b) ten euros (€10).
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Operator from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Service, Your Content, or your violation of these Terms.

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by the Operator. The Operator has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services. You access any such third-party website or service entirely at your own risk.

Your continued access to or use of the Service after any revision takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to a revision, you must discontinue use of the Service.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction in which the Operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except to the extent mandatory consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction of residence provides otherwise.
